Tools, methods and special machines |
|
The production lines, which incorporate numerous robots and automated systems, are designed, produced and debugged by a specialist subsidiary, FMIA. |
This subsidiary also makes all of the tooling and special machinery for production. |

Samples, models and design |
|
Knowledge of steels and their mechanical characteristics, and the availability of production facilities maintained at the forefront of technology, enable us to advise and assist customers in the design of new parts, optimised for cost and quality. |
A special workshop produces pre-production samples in the shortest possible leadtimes (laser cutting machine coupled to design software). |

Inspection, traceability, quality assurance and environment |
|
On-receipt inspection of the steels, bought-out and sub-contracted components, dating of manufactured parts and production control software enable total traceability of manufacture to be achieved in accordance with the ISO 9002 standard. Checks on dimentions, hardness, impact strength, bend testing areconstantly practised by operators and quality inspectors in order to guarantee conformity to specifications. |
Manufacturing activity takes place in plant which is certified in accordance with the current government regulations regarding respect for the environment. |

Communication, transport and logistics |
|
70% of production is exported. |
Staff are skilled in the most commonly used working languages and are experienced in export techniques and regulations, together with the negotiation and management of contracts for transport to all countries. |
